I'm so darn tired. I super wish I wasn't though. If only i had super energy and could design all night and have brilliant ideas, and have like 6 monitors, hahah i'd be in a circle of screens, kinda cool if you ask me. I finally finished my motion piece. MAYBE i'll youtube it and post it here but then again, maybe not. 

Earlier today i layed out some of my printed out roughs, and looked at 1/2 of my portofolio, and honestly I am happy that nothing looks the same. Well in my mind it doesn't, but i could be wrong. I really tried not to use the same colors, or textures, or patterns, but i failed on not using the same typeface twice. haha what can i say? i love a good san serif, on that note:

theres alot of things in graphic design that one could relate to practically anything. i have recently concluded to myself that the most successful design is if the form does indeed follow its function. its tough though. its so much easier creating an illustration or some sort, add good type design and call it done. i would like to create more things that had a function to it, not necessary one you could use, but to have an actually meaning to it. gosh the difficulties of finally understanding what is what.

Okay, so maybe i am a bit exaggerating on how i feel about motion graphics, but i bet my brain is saying that it just hasnt come out of my mouth yet. Its only the beginning of the semester and im nervous about just one thing: portfolio review. how in the world am i gonna get all this stuff together in time? 

but besides that, motion is already kicking my butt and it has barely started. the thing is, i want good solid ideas the first time so i wont have to redo something or rethink something.
